wHAT IS THE CEM SYMPOSIUM?

The opening of the new Centre for Ecosystem Management at the University of Guelph is just a few weeks away. The centre is being created through a partnership between the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, the Quantitative Fisheries Center at Michigan State University, and the University of Guelph.

The inaugural symposium to launch the CEM aims to introduce the CEM to the broader community of researchers, managers, stakeholder groups, and the broader public within and outside of the Great Lakes basin; and begin building partnerships and collaborations with this broader community.
