The Centre for Ecosystem Management (CEM) was pleased to welcome the Honourable Mike Harris, Ontario’s Minister of Natural Resources and MPP for Kitchener-Conestoga, during his visit to the University of Guelph in September as part of a campus tour.

During his visit, we had the opportunity to share an overview of the CEM’s work, highlighting several ongoing research projects and future proposals. Given Minister Harris’s interest in angling and fisheries, it was a great opportunity to discuss our research and its contributions to the sustainable management and conservation of Ontario’s aquatic ecosystems.

We appreciated his interest in our work and the opportunity to showcase the research and initiatives underway at the CEM.
